Nea Peramos, Kavala

After the compulsory exchange of populations in 1922, the refugees who moved to Kavala, dealt almost exclusively with agriculture, giving with the passage of time distinct reputation in the grapes and its derivatives, as well as the olives and the olive oil!
Nowdays, New Peramos offers one of the most beautiful beaches of Kavala, known as “Ammolofoi” which means dunes, and gathers tourists and residents from the surrounding areas, including Thessaloniki! The beach, with its beautiful waters, offers cafes, bars and restaurants by the sea for an enjoyable day trip!
